Successful Registrants will be granted priority and special discount for enrollment in workshops, seminars, conferences, etc., organized or co-organized by APCPA
The profile of the Registers of APCPA will be listed on our website or hyperlink in APCPA website to the personal website or information page of the Registered member. Chargeable website design service can be provided upon request.
Successful registrants are eligible to print on their name cards, letterhead and promotional materials the corresponding membership title (i.e. Registered Counsellor (APCPA) / Registered Clinical Supervisor (APCPA) / Register School Counsellor (APCPA)).
Application criteria
With postgraduate certificate or above in counselling supervision (or overseas equivalent), OR at least seven years of practical experience in counselling supervision. All registered clinical supervisors had fulfilled the application criteria of registered counsellor.

Application criteria
Counselling practitioner with degree or above (or overseas equivalent) in counselling or counselling related areas
Applicants have practiced at least 250 direct individual counselling hours with regular clinical supervision at the time of registration
Direct Group Counselling hours practiced would be counted as the ratio 2:1, i.e. every 2 direct group counselling hours equal to 1 individual counselling hour; maximum one-fifth of the individual counselling hours (50 hours) can be converted from direct group counselling hours

Have received at least 30 hours of training in counselling areas, including workshops, seminars, conferences, etc., at recognized training institutes/centres within the past year
AND have practiced individual face to face counselling hours with regular clinical supervision within the past year

HK$600 (or HK$450 if renewed at least 1 month before expiry)

For those with Degree, Diploma or Certificate major in counselling or equivalent (with voting right), or undergoing counselling training and with interest in counselling (without voting right).

Full member ($250, with voting right); Associate member ($150, without voting right).
